In the Mayan language, Sian Ka'an means 'where the sky is born' or
'origin of the sky.' Its coast is the third largest among Mexico's protected
areas.
As well as boasting some of the
most spectacular and pristine beaches in the world, this protected national
treasure comprises approximately 1.3 million acres in total, spanning 120
kilometers from north to south, covering almost one third of the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

Biosphere Reserve, renowned for its natural uncontaminated beauty, contains
tropical forests, mangroves, and shimmering lagoons, as well as a large marine
section intersected by a barrier reef. It provides a habitat for remarkably

Declared
a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, the reserve holds significant global
importance for its conservation efforts.

What's our status.
We are close to obtaining the federal permits from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT) after successfully presenting and getting approved the environmental impact statement as a prerequisite to changing the land use of the property to tourist. This modification will allow the construction of a hotel with a capacity of 22 units, which can be operated as 44 keys, as well as roads, decks, pools, among other amenities.
